The 38th Annual Meeting of SEASECS will take place from Thursday, March 1 through Saturday, March 3, 2012, near the charming downtown square of Decatur, GA, which can be reached via MARTA rail service from the Atlanta airport. The conference hotel for the 2012 SEASECS meeting is currently undergoing both a conversion and renovation to become the “Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Decatur Downtown/Emory,” which will be complete by February 2012, just in time for our conference!

The plenary speakers for the meeting will be: Robert Williams and Tamara Livingston on the History of the Book and the distinguished Defoe and Fielding scholar Dr. Paul Hunter. Other events include a lecture/concert of Beethoven's Trio in C minor, Opus 1, No. 3, as well as lecture/concert of organ and Baroque trumpet.
