SEASECS invites submissions for its annual article competition. The Society will give an award of $500 for the best article on an eighteenth-century subject published in a scholarly journal, annual, or collection between September 1, 2010 and August 31, 2011. Authors must be or become members of SEASECS. The article must have been published between September 1, 2010 and August 31, 2011 in either a scholarly journal or a collection of essays. Submissions written in a language other than English must be accompanied by an English translation. Three copies must be submitted. Articles may be nominated by the author or by another member.
